Let's face it, temptation is everywhere and every day we're put to the test of just how much of our morals we're willing to compromise. With the economy squeezing the job market, PR practitioners may feel pressure to not rock the boat and just follow orders or to blur their own perception of what's wrong or right.
No one is perfect and free from "sin" but how do you survive in the real world when you're forced between compromising your morals or doing what you feel is right? How do you stay true to yourself without drowning in a city full of sin?
What better place to answer these questions than the infamous Sin City?
To observe PRSA Ethics Month, the Las Vegas PRSA chapter has planned a compelling professional development event featuring roundtable interactive discussions of relevant ethical case studies.
Join us Friday, September 24, from 3 to 5 p.m. for "Las Vegas Stripped: Keeping Your Moral Compass in Sin City." During this event, PR professionals and students will discuss various ethical scenarios:
- Exposed! Undercover Marketing
- The Phantom Experience: Embellishing Your Resume
- The Great Pretender: Corporate Blogging
Cost is $15 for members; $25 for non-members and $10 for students. Light refreshments will be served.
Sponsored by the PRSA Western District.
