APR
The Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) credential certifies your drive, professionalism, and principles, setting you apart from your peers and positioning you as a leader and mentor in the competitive public relations field.
Get your APR this fall with the chapter's guided program. Here's the line-up:
- Aug 3 – APR applications/payments due to PRSA (can be submitted earlier)
- Aug 11 – APR Jump Start Info Session with Dan McFadden, APR – in person
- Aug 18 – Panel Questionnaire Work Session with Gretchen Papez, APR – in person
- Aug 28 – Panel Questionnaires due to Dan McFadden by noon
- Sept 12 & 19-- Panels – (Saturday morning) – in person
- Sept 22 – Ethics & Law study session
- Sept 29 – Managing Relationships study session
- Oct 6 – Understanding Comm Models study session
- Oct 13 – Leading the PR Function study session
- Oct 20 – RPIE – Part 1 / Research study session
- Oct 27 – RPIE – Part 2 / Plan-Implement-Evaluation study session
- Nov 4 – Review for APR Exam with Dan - Zoom
- Dec 19 – All exams completed
- Jan or Feb - Pinning ceremony at a chapter event

Calendar of Events
In this new era of working from home, we're gathering public relations professionals for networking and support. These meetings will be conducted on Zoom. You may join from your computer, phone, or tablet.
A board member will lead the session where you'll hear from your colleagues about how the pandemic has changed their work and share tips and tricks to be successful.
Seating is limited. Members are free. Non-members are $10.
